This week, we finished up our two week integrated unit on insects. We became etamologists and studied several different insects carefully to become experts on them. We read many books and compared the similarities and differences between bees, ants, ladybugs, etc.
We also created a large display in the hallway with Mrs. Morgan's class. We studied a variety of interesting insects to display on our outdoor scene. At the writing center, the students worked to create drawings of some of their favorites and wrote facts about them.
